2025–2026 Regulation Changes

What changed — and what it means for you

The March 2025 amendments (SOR/2025-70) are the biggest changes to Canadian drone law since 2019. Here's the fast version.

BVLOS Without SFOC
Lower-risk BVLOS operations no longer require a Special Flight Operations Certificate. You need Level 1 Complex certification instead, plus an RPOC for organizations.
